About Me

I'm a Senior Full-Stack Engineer based in Mexico City, working remotely with U.S. teams across fintech, consumer, and healthcare. Over the past seven years I've moved from internal university tools to high-traffic platforms serving millions of users — and along the way I've fallen in love with the messy, interesting parts of cloud-native systems.

Today I lead architecture and delivery at Parking Compliance Systems, where I design event-driven microservices, modernize legacy components into containers, and ship features end-to-end — from a PostgreSQL schema all the way to a React UI my customers actually enjoy using.

I care about clarity over cleverness, fast feedback loops, and writing code my teammates can read at 2 a.m. on a Friday. Fluent in English, currently learning Spanish, and always up for a hard problem.

Experience

Current Jun 2023 — Present

Senior Software Engineer

Parking Compliance Systems · Florida, US

  • Architected cloud-native services for a large-scale parking compliance platform using Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL, Redis, AWS, and Docker.
  • Designed event-driven microservices that automated enforcement workflows and cut manual review time by 40%.
  • Built high-throughput APIs serving tens of thousands of daily requests, improving response times 30–50% via caching, query tuning, and async processing.
  • Led modernization of legacy components into containerized services and shipped zero-downtime CI/CD pipelines on GitHub Actions.
  • Integrated structured logging, metrics, and alerting — slashing incident MTTR.

Memory Wiki — AI memory graph
AI · LLM

Memory Wiki

Turns conversation transcripts into persistent, searchable memories. An LLM extracts durable facts and merges them into a deterministic file tree, exposed through unix-style REST endpoints (ls, cat, grep). Built for reliability with a transactional outbox and SKIP LOCKED job claiming.

FormCMS — AI-Powered CMS

Open-source headless CMS that generates database schemas, GraphQL queries and full UI pages from natural-language prompts. Ships a visual GrapesJS page designer and Stash, an offline PWA companion, with sharding & CDN caching for scale.

Notification Preferences Service

A single source of truth for per-user notification routing. Given user, type, channel, region and time, it returns an allow/deny decision with a reason code — honoring channel preferences, timezone-aware quiet hours and global admin policies, behind a clean hexagonal architecture with a pure domain evaluator.

Construction Work Log

Lets construction foremen log daily site activity — work type, volume, worker and date — with sortable, filterable history and full CRUD validation. One command boots the whole stack: nginx serves the SPA and proxies the API while Postgres auto-migrates and seeds reference data.

Food Truck Finder

Full-stack app that maps San Francisco's food trucks. Redis geospatial queries surface the trucks nearest you; tap a marker for the applicant, address and menu. Includes an admin CLI to search by cuisine — a Go backend with a React + Leaflet frontend, fully Dockerized.

NotifyHub — Notification Microservice

Sends mass SMS & email at scale with delivery guarantees. RabbitMQ priority queues keep transactional alerts ahead of marketing, Redis + DB constraints make requests idempotent, and row-level locking gives exactly-once provider calls. API and workers scale independently.
